Justin is an experienced television producer and executive producer, a leading designer of TV formats, author of many books for adults and children, and an international speaker and trainer on gameshow and factual entertainment formatting. Recently he has added the role of 'Format Doctor' to his portfolio, working with broadcasters and production companies to diagnose and solve problems with their developing formats.

Justin's new fact-packed book about secret signs in plain sight, TIC-TAC, TEDDY BEARS & TEARDROP TATTOOS, was published by Hodder & Stoughton in October 2008.

In early 2009, Justin will be in Brussels, lecturing on Gameshow Mechanics at Flemish broadcaster VRT; in Cambridge with the Entertainment Masterclass talking about TV & New Media ; and serving on Jury on the Gameshow panel for the Rose D'Or Television Festival. 

In December Justin was with the Entertainment Masterclass in Copenhagen, talking about "Reality Formats: How Far should We Go".  In August he was with the EMC in Berlin and Potsdam where he spoke about building international potential into your formats. 

In June Justin was in Canada as a panellist at the Banff International TV Festival, considering 'The Next Big Hit', along with Dick de Rijk creator of 'Deal or No Deal'.  He was also a Trainer and Mentor at the Entertainment Masterclass where he spoke about the mechanics of gameshow formatting. 

In May Justin was at the Rose D'Or in Luzern, Switzerland, where Codex was nominated in the category 'Best Gameshow'. He also moderated a conference on 'Can the Arts Ever be Primetime?' and gave a lecture for students from Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts (LIPA).

In 2008 Justin became a visiting tutor to the National Film & Television school at Beaconsfield.
