Justin is an experienced TV producer and executive producer, a leading designer of TV formats, author of books for adults and children, and an international speaker and trainer on gameshow and factual entertainment formatting. Recently he added the role of 'Format Doctor' to his portfolio, working with broadcasters and production companies to diagnose and solve problems with their developing formats.
Justin's fact-packed book, "a very good and authoritative look at a world of hidden messages and coded communications" (The Bookbag), was published in hardcover October 2008 by Hodder & Stoughton.

In May, Justin will be in Lucerne serving on the jury of the 2009 Rose D'Or Television Festival.
In March/April he was a speaker at the British Society of Comedy Writers; and ran a 2-day workshop on television-formatting at the NFTS (National Film & Television School) where he is a Mentor and Visiting Tutor.
Earlier this year, he was at Flemish broadcaster VRT in Brussels giving a lecture on "Gameshow Mechanics", working as a 'format doctor' at Dutch production company 14NEWTV, and in Cambridge with the Entertainment Masterclass, where he ran a weekend-long ARG (alternate reality game) to demonstrate the wider potential of new media for television. He also gave a lecture on the "DNA of International Formats" to Screen East.
Justin recently became consultant 'Format Doctor' to international format-distribution company Distraction Formats.
